How handles personal data — both on this website and inside our products.
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal data (GSTIN ), operating from , collects, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Two different roles
It matters which of these applies to you, because our obligations differ:
- Data we control. Information about website visitors, people who make enquiries, and the account and billing contacts of our customers. We decide how this is used, and this policy governs it.
- Data we process on a customer's behalf. Whatever a subscribing business puts into our products — which may include personal data about their customers, staff or suppliers. We process that only on that business's instructions. If you are an individual whose data sits in a customer's account, please contact that business; we will assist them in responding to you.
2. What we collect
- Enquiries. Name, organisation, phone, email and whatever you write in the contact form or send us by email.
- Account data. Name, work email, phone and role of users you create, plus authentication data. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form.
- Billing data. Billing address, GSTIN and invoice records. Tax law requires us to keep these.
- Usage data. Logs of feature use, errors and performance, used to diagnose problems and decide what to improve.
- Customer Data. Whatever you upload or create in the product. We treat this as yours (see section 5).
- Technical data. Standard server logs including IP address and browser type. This website runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide demonstrations and trials
- To provide, secure, support and improve the products you subscribe to
- To raise GST-compliant invoices and maintain statutory records
- To notify you about service changes, incidents and maintenance affecting your account
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents
We do not send marketing email to people who have only made an enquiry unless they ask to hear from us. Service and billing notices are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
4. AI processing
Some product features use machine learning models to process content you submit — for example to extract, classify or summarise it. Where a feature does this, it is described in the product.
We do not use Customer Data to train models that serve other customers. Where a feature relies on a third-party model provider, that provider is listed as a sub-processor (section 6) and is contractually bound not to use your content to train its own models.
5. Customer Data is yours
You own what you put into our products. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for advertising, or access it except to provide and support the Service, to investigate a security incident, or where the law compels us. Access by our team is limited to the people who need it and is logged.
6. Sharing and sub-processors
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the product, each bound by contract to protect it:
- Cloud hosting and backup infrastructure
- Email delivery and support tooling
- Payment and invoicing providers
- Machine learning model providers, where a feature uses one
- Our accountant and tax authorities, for statutory filings
A current list of sub-processors is available on request. We will give existing customers reasonable notice before adding one that materially changes how their data is handled.
7. Where data is hosted
Customer Data is hosted in . Where a sub-processor operates outside India, we ensure appropriate contractual protections are in place before any transfer.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: up to months, then deleted.
- Customer Data after cancellation: retained for days so an accidental cancellation can be reversed, then deleted.
- Invoices and tax records: retained for the statutory period required under Indian tax law.
- Security and audit logs: retained for a limited period proportionate to their purpose.
9. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access to the people who need it, take regular backups and test that they restore. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law, without undue delay.
10. Cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our products use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the session secure. If we add analytics, this section will be updated before it goes live.
11. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules notified in November 2025, you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it where we are not legally required to keep it, withdraw consent you previously gave, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to and we will respond within a reasonable period.
12. Grievance officer
