Platform & Approach

What is common to everything we build — where we use AI, how we treat your data, and what you can expect from software you rent rather than buy.

What every product gives you

Our position on AI

How we use AI

Where AI is in a product, it is because certain jobs — reading unstructured documents, classifying messy records, drafting the first version of something — are genuinely better done by a model than by a person doing them a hundred times a day.

Anything a model suggests is labelled as a suggestion, and a person stays in control of the decision. Where a rule would be more reliable than a model, we use the rule — and some of our products use no AI at all, because they did not need any.

Where AI features do exist, they may be available only on certain plans. We state that on the product itself rather than leaving you to find out after subscribing.

We also do not use one customer's data to train models that serve another customer. Your records are used to provide the service to you.

Buying from us

A short path to the people who build the software

We are a small team, and that is the whole proposition: you reach the people who write the software, and the product can change because one customer made a good argument.

    Evaluating us?

Reasonable questions to ask before you commit to any SaaS vendor, ours included:

    • Can I get my data out, and in what format?
    • What happens to my data if you shut down?
    • Who else can see it?
    • What does the price do at renewal?
    • Who answers when something breaks?
